Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Zanzibar and Discover Stone Town
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred to Stone Town, the historic and cultural heart of the island. Spend the afternoon exploring its narrow alleyways, bustling markets, carved wooden doors and centuries-old architecture that reflect a fascinating blend of African, Arab and European influences.
As the sun sets, enjoy the unique atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage Site before settling into your hotel for the evening.

Day 2: Fly to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight to Serengeti National Park.
Upon arrival, meet our guide and begin your first game drive immediately. The Serengeti is renowned for its abundant wildlife and spectacular landscapes, offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and countless other species.
Later in the day, continue to your preferred Serengeti lodge and enjoy your first evening in the African wilderness.

Day 3: Full Day in Central Serengeti
Spend the day exploring the wildlife-rich plains of Central Serengeti.
This region is known for its year-round wildlife concentrations and is one of the best places in East Africa to observe predators. Our guide will take you through different areas of the park in search of memorable sightings while sharing insights into the behaviour and ecology of the animals you encounter.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Day 4: Walking Safari and Night Game Drive
Enjoy a relaxed morning at your lodge before preparing for a different kind of safari experience.
Later in the afternoon, join an experienced guide for a walking safari within the Serengeti ecosystem. Exploring on foot provides a unique perspective on the bush and allows you to appreciate the smaller details often missed from a vehicle.
After dinner, venture out on an exciting night game drive. As darkness falls, the landscape takes on a different character and nocturnal wildlife begins to emerge. Keep watch for hyenas, genets, owls and, with a little luck, a leopard on the move.

Day 5: Return to Zanzibar
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival, transfer to your preferred Zanzibar beach resort where the remainder of your safari is dedicated to relaxation and enjoying the island’s tropical surroundings.

Days 6 & 7: Zanzibar Beach Escape
Spend the next two days at leisure enjoying Zanzibar’s beautiful coastline.
Relax on the beach, unwind by the pool, or choose from a range of optional activities and excursions. Discover the island’s underwater world through snorkeling or diving, visit Jozani Forest to see the endemic red colobus monkeys, explore a traditional seaweed farm, or simply enjoy the laid-back island lifestyle.

Day 8: Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast overlooking the Indian Ocean before checking out of your resort.
At the appropriate time, transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your safari and beach adventure to a memorable close.
