Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Meet our guide before departing Arusha for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations.
Known for its towering baobab trees and impressive elephant population, Tarangire offers excellent game viewing throughout the year. As you explore the park, keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and predators hidden among the acacia woodland.
After your first day on safari, continue to your preferred Lake Manyara lodge, where you can relax and enjoy views across the Great Rift Valley.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of wildlife viewing.
Although compact in size, Lake Manyara is renowned for its remarkable diversity of habitats, ranging from groundwater forests and open plains to the soda lake itself. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, abundant birdlife and resident hippos.
Enjoy a full day exploring the park before continuing to the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
An early start brings you to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders.
Descend into the crater for a full day of game viewing in this unique ecosystem. Home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, the crater supports lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest and the endangered black rhino.
The fertile crater floor provides exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the year, making this one of the highlights of any Tanzanian safari.
Later in the afternoon, return to your lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 4: Return to Arusha
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and take in the views across the Ngorongoro Highlands before beginning your safari back to Arusha.
As you travel, reflect on the unforgettable wildlife encounters and landscapes experienced over the past few days. Upon arrival in Arusha, your safari comes to an end, with the option to continue your safari to Zanzibar or depart for your onward flight.
