Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Pickup from Entebbe or Kampala and drive west through scenic countryside, tea plantations and rolling hills. Arrive at Kibale in the afternoon. Depending on your arrival time, you may have a chance for a short nature walk or community visit near the park.

Overnight: Lodge near Kibale National Park
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
Early breakfast followed by a briefing and chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest. Spend time observing chimps and other primates in the rainforest. After lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon or evening game drive.

Day 3: Full Day in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains searching for lions, elephants, Uganda kob and other wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, known for hippos, crocodiles and abundant birdlife.

Overnight: Lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park area
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha
Morning game drive in the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and check into your lodge in the afternoon.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Early start with a briefing at park headquarters. Trek into the rainforest with your ranger and trackers to spend one hour with a habituated mountain gorilla family. Return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon relaxation.

Day 6: Optional Activity and Leisure
Enjoy a relaxed morning with an optional community visit, nature walk, or Batwa cultural experience. The rest of the day is at leisure to reflect on your gorilla encounter.
