Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo West
Scenic drive from Nairobi to Tsavo West.
Visit the Mzima Springs, a series of natural springs with crystal-clear water, home to hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife.
Explore the Shetani Lava Flows, a vast expanse of black lava rock formed centuries ago.
Game drive in search of Tsavo’s famous “red elephants,” lions, buffalos, and other wildlife.
Overnight stay at a lodge or camp within Tsavo West.
Day 2: Tsavo West to Amboseli
Early morning game drive in Tsavo West.
Depart for Amboseli National Park, known for its stunning views of *Mount Kilimanjaro*, Africa’s highest peak.
Afternoon game drive in Amboseli, where you’ll encounter large herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and more.
Enjoy the iconic sunset with Mount Kilimanjaro as your backdrop.
Overnight stay at a lodge or camp in Amboseli.
Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
Morning game drive in Amboseli, with another chance to see elephants and other wildlife against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro.
Depart for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley.
Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you’ll spot hippos, waterbucks, and a variety of bird species, including fish eagles.
Optional visit to Crescent Island for a walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.
Overnight stay at a lodge or camp near Lake Naivasha.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara
Depart early for the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve.
Afternoon game drive in the Mara, known for its abundant wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino).
