Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli
Your safari begins in Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Amboseli is a photographer’s paradise, offering stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife.
Game drives to spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and more.
Spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, especially at sunrise and sunset.
Visit to a local Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions.
Birdwatching at Amboseli’s swamps, home to pelicans, kingfishers, and other waterbirds.
Day 2: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley. Known for its tranquil beauty and diverse birdlife, Lake Naivasha is a perfect spot for relaxation and exploration.
Boat ride on Lake Naivasha to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species, including fish eagles and cormorants.
Visit to Crescent Island for a walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.
Optional cycling tour around the lake or a visit to Hell’s Gate National Park for hiking and geothermal hot springs.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara
The Masai Mara is Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve, known for its vast savannahs, the Great Migration (seasonal), and incredible predator-prey interactions. Spend two full days exploring this iconic destination.
Afternoon game drives to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) as well as cheetahs, hyenas, and more.
Witness the Great Migration (July-October) where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River.
Hot air balloon safari over the Mara plains for a unique perspective (optional + paid).
Cultural visit to a Maasai village to learn about their way of life and traditions.

Day 4: Masai Mara Cultural Experience & Afternoon Game Drive
Morning visit to a local Maasai village to learn about their traditional way of life, customs, and culture.

Return to your lodge/camp for lunch and some downtime.
Afternoon game drive to explore more of Masai Mara’s diverse ecosystems and wildlife.

Day 5: Masai Mara to Nairobi
On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a short morning game drive in the Masai Mara before heading back to Nairobi. Reflect on the incredible wildlife sightings, stunning landscapes, and cultural experiences as you prepare for your journey home.
