Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu
Morning: Depart from Nairobi and drive north through lush landscapes and arid plains to Samburu National Reserve.
Afternoon: Arrive at your lodge or camp, enjoy lunch, and relax.
Evening: Embark on your first game drive in Samburu, searching for unique wildlife and enjoying the scenic Ewaso Ng’iro River.
Dinner & Overnight: Samburu lodge or camp.
Day 2: Samburu Full Day
Morning & Afternoon: Spend the day exploring Samburu on morning and afternoon game drives. Look out for elephants, lions, and the rare “Samburu Special Five.”
Evening: Enjoy a sundowner by the river and relax under the stars.
Dinner & Overnight: Samburu lodge or camp.
Day 3: Samburu to Lake Nakuru
Morning: Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru, known for its flamingos and rhino sanctuary.
Afternoon: Arrive at Lake Nakuru, check in to your lodge, and enjoy lunch.
Evening: Take an afternoon game drive to see flamingos, pelicans, and other birdlife, as well as rhinos, lions, and leopards.
Dinner & Overnight: Lake Nakuru lodge or camp.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
Morning: After breakfast, drive to the world-famous Masai Mara, Kenya’s most iconic safari destination.
Afternoon: Arrive at your lodge or camp, enjoy lunch, and relax.
Evening: Embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara, spotting elephants, lions, cheetahs, and more.
Dinner & Overnight: Masai Mara lodge or camp.
Day 5: Full Day Masai Mara
Morning & Afternoon: Spend the day exploring the Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Witness the Great Migration (seasonal) and spot the Big Five.
Optional: Visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions.
Evening: Enjoy a sundowner in the savannah and relax at your lodge.
Dinner & Overnight: Masai Mara lodge or camp.
Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi
Morning: Enjoy a final game drive in the Masai Mara, followed by breakfast at your lodge.
Afternoon: Drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
Evening: Drop-off at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
